What are fast-paying casinos?

Fast-paying casinos are online casinos that process withdrawals quickly. But even then, the word “quickly” can have different meanings to different people. Here is a bit more specificity on what I mean when I am looking for a fast-paying online casino:

  • An instant withdrawal casino is the fastest-paying casino that exists, as you get your money instantly. While it is possible to find instant withdrawals depending on the casino and payment method, it is the exception to the rule.
  • It is more typical to receive your winnings within 24 hours of withdrawal, so I would define anything faster than that as a fast-paying casino.
  • Within 1-3 days would not be considered “fast,” but it is also not outside of industry norms.
  • Any withdrawal that takes more than 3 business days should be considered atypical.

Note: I am specifically referring to how long the online casino takes to approve your withdrawal in this section. How long it takes to actually show up in your account depends on the banking method you choose and your financial institution.

Instant withdrawal online casinos, ranked

The following is my list of the top online casinos, ranked by fastest processing times. When two casinos offer the same processing times, rankings also depend on other factors that influence customer satisfaction with withdrawals, such as customer service. (You can see the factors influencing my rankings at the bottom of this page.)

Note that the times listed assume using the fastest deposit method and that the casino has verified your account.

GoldenNugget Casino1-3 daysPlay+
Bally Bet Casino (NJ, RI only)1-3 daysPayPal, bank transfer

BetRivers Casino: Instant withdrawals (upon approval)

BetRivers Online Casino is the fastest-paying US casino on the market. It delivers instant withdrawals via the BetRivers Play+ card. The other methods available include online banking/ACH, which takes 2 to 5 business days, and a check in the mail, which arrives within 10 to 14 business days.

However, withdrawals typically process within 24 hours and may take up to 72 hours to be reviewed and approved. The withdrawal minimum is $20. You may not withdraw any active bonus funds, and submitting a withdrawal request cancels active bonuses. However, bonus bank funds remain unaffected.

bet365 Casino: Instant withdrawals (upon approval)

Bet365 Casino is one of the fastest paying online casinos on the market. The site advises players that withdrawals can take 1-4 hours via PayPal, Skrill, or a debit card, but it often takes just a few minutes to get your money.

You can also receive an instant cash payout at the casino cage if you visit Hard Rock Hotel Casino in Atlantic City. The minimum withdrawal is $10, and the upper limit varies according to the method selected. If you have any questions, you can call the Bet365 customer service team 24/7 or use live chat or email. Here are the withdrawal options:

  • Debit card
  • Online banking
  • PayPal
  • Skrill
  • Cash at the cage

Fanatics Casino: Instant (With Visa Direct)

Fanatics Casino provides quick, secure payouts. The app explains that withdrawals can take 2-4 days to arrive. However, if you request a debit card withdrawal, the funds should arrive in your account straight away, provided your bank supports services like Visa Direct.

There are lots of alternative payout methods, including PayPal and Venmo, which are also fast. The minimum withdrawal is just $1, which is lower than most competitors, and there is no official maximum payout limit for high rollers.

These are the available payout methods at Fanatics Casino:

  • ACH transfer
  • PayPal
  • Venmo
  • Debit card
  • Online banking
  • Wire transfer

FanDuel Casino: Within 2 hours

FanDuel Casino may actually be the league leader in available same-day quick payouts. Online banking, debit cards, PayPal, Venmo, and FanDuel Prepaid Play+ withdrawals can all happen within two hours, and cash at the cage in less than one.

Other than that, withdrawals can take up to five days to process via the last deposit method you used, including the following:

  • Affiliated casino cage
  • ACH bank transfer
  • Check
  • Debit card/online card transfer
  • Online banking
  • PayPal
  • Play+
  • Venmo
  • VIP Preferred e-check
  • Wire transfer

BetMGM Casino: Within 6 hours

The fact you can get a Play+ prepaid card withdrawal processed in less than half a day, or a PayPal withdrawal within 24 hours, qualifies BetMGM Online Casino for discussion on this list, and the sheer number of banking options puts it at the top.

However, certain methods can take much longer. Here are the main choices:

  • VIP Preferred e-check
  • Play+
  • Mastercard and Visa
  • American Express
  • PayPal
  • Electronic transfer
  • PayNearMe
  • Cash at an affiliated casino cage
  • Discover
  • Online banking (PayWithMyBank)
  • MGM Rewards
  • BetMGM gift card
  • Apple Pay

How to choose your fastest-paying casino

As mentioned above, if two casinos were tied in payout speed, I used other factors to differentiate. I would encourage you to do the same. After all, payout speed doesn’t do you much good if the rest of the experience doesn’t work for you. Here are the factors I would evaluate.

1

Make sure it’s a safe casino

Make sure that the online casino you choose is safe. All the online casinos we feature here at PlayUSA.com are highly reputable and follow strict US gambling laws.

You can always keep up with the latest news about US legislation and regulation on gambling at PlayUSA as well.

2

Check out the range of casino games they offer

Different US online casinos offer a different range of casino games. From slots to live dealer games to instant games, check if the casino you choose features the variety of games you need.

3

Evaluate the range of payment methods

Online casinos offer various payment methods, from credit cards to bank transfers to e-wallets. But there are slight variations in what various operators have available. So, check that the payment services offered can accommodate your needs.

4

Be sure the average Return to Player value is at industry standard

Return to Player is the percentage amount you get back from your best once you land a win. Standard RTPs for casino games are around 94-99%.

Live casino games are also within that range. It is also common to find lower values at online casinos, especially among slots. You can see the best-paying online casinos at PlayUSA. I like to cross-reference the list above with my list to find the ideal casino for me. But again, every game is different.

So as long as an online casino features table games and at least some of the highest-paying online slots in the industry, I feel comfortable signing up.

5

Research the site’s customer service

Check the casino’s score regarding the customer care service they offer to their clients. Most online casino operators offer 24/7 chat and e-mail support.

Some may even offer phone support. If a fast payout casino doesn’t offer these methods, it may not be worth it. I also like to read reviews on platforms like Trustpilot, Reddit, Google Play, and the App Store to see what kind of experience people say they have had with customer support. If the reviews are consistently negative, I avoid the site.

6

Double-check that the platform is user-friendly

I ensure the cashier is functional and easy to use, no matter my preferred banking method. I’ve never found a platform where I couldn’t ultimately navigate to where I needed to go. But some are definitely clunkier than others, requiring multiple clicks and taps instead of just one.

Best banking options for fast or instant payouts

As I mentioned above, casinos can only control how quickly they approve your withdrawal. How long before that actually hits your account depends on the banking method you choose. Here are the fastest methods that I have found while playing at online casinos:

How to withdraw funds

Withdrawing funds from an online casino is straightforward. We’ll walk you through it step by step.

  1. Open your online casino app if you haven’t already.
  2. Navigate to the cashier section, usually in the upper right-hand corner. Depending on the app, it could be located in a different corner. The cashier may also be found in your “account info.”
  3. Check your balance, and enter how much money you want to withdraw.
  4. Choose the payment method you would like to use.
  5. This depends on the payment method, but if you use a credit card, you will likely need to log into your credit card app to confirm the transaction.
  6. Wait for the funds to arrive. You will typically receive an email telling you when your money will land in your account.

Importance of KYC checks when it comes to payouts

KYC checks, or “know your customer” checks, are when online casinos verify your identity before releasing a withdrawal. Obviously, this can slow down the process, but it is an important security measure that can help ensure no one but you gets your money.

There may be a slight delay to your first withdrawal as the online casino asks you for a copy of your ID online. However, this process aims to stop fraudulent use of your identity and identity theft while protecting your account and your funds. It also protects sensitive data you may have shared with the online casino.

My tip is to complete all of those checks as soon as you make your account. Then you won’t get slowed down when it’s time to withdraw.

That said, speed of verification is yet another factor that I weighed when choosing my list of the fastest-paying online casinos above.

Fastest payouts vs. best payouts: What's the difference?

Fast payouts and best payouts sound like the same thing, but they measure two very different parts of your casino experience. A fast-paying casino gets your winnings into your hands quickly. A best-payout casino gives you more money back over time, thanks to games with a high Return to Player (RTP) percentage.

Neither one guarantees a win, but together they shape how much you keep and how soon you get it. When I pick a casino, I look for both: a quick cashier and a lobby packed with high-RTP games. Use the table below alongside the speed rankings above to find a site that checks both boxes.

What is RTP, and can you trust it?

RTP is the percentage of every dollar wagered that a game is designed to pay back to players over the long run. If a slot has a 96% RTP, it's expected to return $96 for every $100 wagered across a huge number of spins. The other 4% is the house edge.

That "long run" part is key. In a single session, you could land a big win on a low-RTP game or lose on a 99% game. RTP doesn't predict your next spin. It tells you which games give you better value the more you play.

The average online slot sits around 96%, so I treat that as my baseline. Anything above 97% is a strong find.

How is RTP tested and verified?

Game developers build each title's math model first, then run millions of simulated rounds to confirm the real payout lines up with the theoretical RTP. Before the game can go live at a licensed US online casino, an approved independent lab, such as Gaming Laboratories International (GLI) or BMM Testlabs, has to certify it, and state regulators have to sign off. New Jersey's Division of Gaming Enforcement even runs its own testing lab.

That means if you play at a state-licensed real-money casino, you can trust the posted RTP. Reputable sweepstakes casinos and social casinos also stick to providers whose games are independently tested. Unlicensed offshore sites offer none of these protections, which is why I never recommend them.

Expert insight:

Online slots usually pay back more than the machines on a casino floor. For context, slot machines on the Las Vegas Strip returned about 91.9% to players in 2024, while the average online slot sits closer to 96%.

Want to check a game’s RTP before you play? Tap the info button (the small i icon) inside the game. Some apps, like bet365 Casino, even show the RTP right under each game in the lobby, which makes comparing titles a lot faster.

Which casino games pay out the most?

Table games and video poker generally pay back more than slots, but every game has its own math, and the rules can push RTP up or down. Here's what I look for in each major category.

Slots

Online slots have the widest RTP range of any casino game, from the high 80s up to around 99%. Most land somewhere between 94% and 97%, so it pays to shop around. Our guide to high RTP slots covers the full list, but these are the ones I keep coming back to:

  • Mega Joker (NetEnt): Up to 99% when you play in Supermeter mode.
  • Monopoly Big Event (Barcrest): 99% with the Big Bet feature turned on.
  • Dr. Jekyll Goes Wild (Barcrest): Up to 98.2%, also with Big Bet.
  • Starmania (NextGen Gaming): 97.87%, and a nice low-volatility option if you prefer steadier play.

Notice a pattern? Many high-RTP slots only reach their top figure when you activate a specific mode or feature, and some games come in more than one RTP version depending on the casino. Progressive jackpot slots also shift as the jackpot grows, often starting below the standard version right after a reset. I always check the info screen before I spin.

Blackjack

Online blackjack is one of the best-paying games you can play, with RTPs around 99.5% when the rules are player-friendly and you stick to basic strategy. The table rules make a real difference, though:

  • 3:2 vs. 6:5 payouts: A natural blackjack paying 6:5 instead of 3:2 adds roughly 1.4% to the house edge. I skip 6:5 tables every time.
  • Dealer stands on soft 17: This rule works in your favor, improving your return by about 0.2% compared to tables where the dealer hits soft 17.
  • Doubling and splitting rules: The more freedom you have to double down and re-split, the better your RTP. Restrictions pull it down.
  • Side bets: Extras like Perfect Pairs carry a much bigger house edge than the main game, so treat them as entertainment, not value.

Here are some of the more generous blackjack versions you'll find online:

Rank Game Payout % Max Payout
1Blackjack multi-hand99.6%$32,000
2Blackjack single-hand99.42%$40,000
3777 Blazing Blackjack99.33%$77,700
4Blackjack Pro multi-hand99.13%$12,000
5Blackjack Pro Atlantic City single-hand99.13%$2,500

Roulette

Online roulette uses the same odds as the land-based game, and the version you choose affects your return more than anything else:

  • American roulette: The extra double zero pocket drops the RTP to 94.74% (5.26% house edge). This is the version I avoid.
  • European roulette: A single zero wheel brings the RTP up to 97.30% (2.70% house edge).
  • French roulette: It uses the single zero wheel plus La Partage or En Prison rules. La Partage returns half of your even-money bet when the ball lands on zero, while En Prison keeps that bet on the table for one more spin. Either way, the house edge on even-money bets falls to just 1.35%.

If French roulette is in your casino's lobby, that's the one I'd play. You can dig deeper in our roulette payouts guide, or compare the main variants below:

Rank Game Payout % Max Payout
1French roulette97.3%$46,200
2European roulette97.29%$46,200
3Roulette Advanced97.29%$41,200
4100/1 roulette96.18%$100,000
5American roulette94.74%$46,200
6Live dealer roulette94.76%$17,800

Video poker

Video poker can be the best-paying game in the casino, but only if you pick the right pay table and play solid strategy. A full-pay 9/6 Jacks or Better game (9 coins for a full house and 6 for a flush on a one-coin bet) returns 99.54% with perfect play. Drop to an 8/5 pay table, and that falls to about 97.30%.

Two habits help me get the most out of video poker. First, I check the pay table before I play, since the same game name can come with very different payouts. Second, I keep a strategy chart handy for the exact variant I'm playing, whether that's Jacks or Better or Bonus Poker, because mistakes chip away at that RTP fast. Some games also pay their best top prize only when you bet max coins, so read the rules screen too.

Rank Game Payout % Max Payout
1Jacks or Better98.45%$140,000
2Destiny Poker98.48%$100,000
3Deuces Wild 98.45%$100,000
4Double Bonus Poker98.91%$80,000
5Joker Poker98.91%$80,000

FAQ

Our research shows that BetRivers Casino is the fastest of them all because it alone promises to send funds directly to your BetRivers Play+ card immediately upon approval.

When you win, the funds turn up in your balance. Exit the game, and you can make a withdrawal request and receive those funds almost immediately, depending on the banking method you choose.

Right now, there are three casinos that pay out instantly. They are:

  • BetRivers Casino (BetRivers Play+ Card)
  • bet365 Casino (PayPal, debit card)
  • Fanatics Casino (Visa Direct)

Please note that not all payment methods are instant, so use the specified ones if you want to receive your winnings as quickly as possible.

On the sweeps casino side of things, sites like SpeedSweeps are making a name for themselves with instant payout and account verification.

Many casinos pay out the same day. Among them are:

  • BetRivers Casino
  • bet365 Casino
  • Fanatics Casino
  • FanDuel Casino
  • BetMGM Casino

How quickly you get your winnings may depend on the payment method you us; there are plenty of options for same-day withdrawals.

Most online casinos don’t charge banking fees, but the payment provider you use may. PayPal, for instance, is almost fee-free when it comes to withdrawals. However, if you have to do a currency conversion as a part of it, PayPal may charge up to a 4.9% fee on top of retail rates. Plus, PayPal charges 2.9% on deposits with credit cards.

Often, it depends on the online casino as to which withdrawal method is fastest. Some online casinos have instant withdrawals, which are only available to one specific method. For example, bet365 can do that with a debit card. However, in our experience, Play+ cards, ewallets, and cash at the casino cage are all pretty fast. ACH transfers and debit cards are usually fast, but they are a bit more hit and miss. Requesting a check is definitely the slowest.
